Aluma cuff wide Red-Brown
This cuff design is inspired by a microscopic marine plant that drifts in the oceans surrounding Antarctica. My ’signature’ piece, I am proud to say it continues to be loved and worn by many (from 18 to 80 year olds!).
The cuffs are presented in a gift-box with the following story:
Dactyliosolen antarcticus
The delicate pattern pressed into the surface of this bracelet is the porous surface of a minute plant that floats in the oceans surrounding Antarctica. Little-known, it plays an essential role in regulating the world's climate.
It's maker, Karin Beaumont, is a marine biologist, an Antarctic voyage leader and a metalsmith passionate about making objects that are meaningful as well as beautiful.
Anodised aluminium bracelet
Wide 60 x 50 x 40 mm
Note: Fitting instructions included. Can be adjusted (once-off) to your wrist. Fits most wrist sizes with exception of very wide wrists.
